And, therefore, education is the means which will have to come in to correct the situation. I remember the famous sculptor of Michelangelo. He created a beautiful statue, and a friend of his said, “Out of a piece of stone you have created this beautiful statue.” The sculptor said, “This statue was already within the stone. I have not created it. All I have done is, I have chiseled off the undesirable pieces which were around the statue and which were masking the statue.” I think, friends, in the same way, a child, who is born by the kindness of God, is a peace-loving child. In the name of education, we have started believing in stuffing him with more and more information, rather than chiseling him off to make sure he remains a peace-loving person. If we give that holistic shift to the educational paradigm, we believe we’ll be able to do much better. And that seems to be the aim of the Darshan Education Foundation. I compliment them for their effort and believe that all of us should join hands to make it a grand success.

The foundation is working tirelessly to realize the vision of the Founder Chairman with the commendable objective of promoting peace. Everybody in the world is looking for peace. Everyone talks peace yet is not at peace. Let peace begin with self and be radiated to others. Let it spread from self to family, family to society, society to country and country to the world making it a peaceful place to live in. I extend my heartiest felicitations to all the members of Darshan Education Foundation and Darshan Academies for bringing out a Souvenir on this occasion. I wish and pray that the vision of the Founder comes true in near future.
